I retired from Dart Container as an electrical engineer in April of 2007. Prior to retirement my wife suggested a hobby other than golf and had enrolled me in a local community beginning watercolor class in Jan of 2003. At best, all I could draw was a smiley face. Watercolor painting has given me a way to spend my time meeting new friends and given me a unique learning experience about the arts.

It’s been an uphill and exciting time for me. I have been a member of the Mid Michigan Art Guild since 2005 and participated in all of their shows. Also served as Membership Chairperson of the Mid Michigan Art guild for one year. I have donated my works to the Burcham Hills Retirement Foundation and Okemos Hope Borbas Library for fund raising purposes. Also, taught beginning watercolor classes for the East Lansing Prime Time, East Lansing , Mi. and Meridian Senior Center in Okemos, Michigan.
